NDubz Singer Dappy Vows To Kill Chris Moyles Fan: BBC Rejoices
ON the Chris Moyles BBC Radio 1 belch, N-Dubz’s frontman – Pob meets the Diddy Man – Dappy, aka Costas Dinos Contostavlos. Listener Chloe Moody sends in a text saying that Dappy is a “vile little boy with a hat“.
We live in an age of intimacy between star and public. Very soon Moody gets a text from Dappy:
“Your gonna die, U sent a very bad msg towards N Dubz on The Chris Moyels show yesterday Morning and for that reason u will never be left alone!! If u say sorry I will leave u alone u ****.”
The obvious reaction would be to a) tell the police; b) brag to your friends that Dappy is going to come round your mum’s house and smother you with his hat; c) write back “LOL”; d) tell the media; e) wonder who hell “Chris Moyels” is?
Option d was selected. Says Moody:
“It’s terrifying when anybody sends you a death threat, whether it’s real or not. Somebody of a fragile mind and nervous would be worrying what they were going to do. His behaviour is unprofessional and I’m considering going to the police”.
Dappy responds:
“I called her in the heat of the moment when I was angry, but that is no excuse for my behaviour. I’m genuinely sorry. I’d also like to send my sincerest apologies to Radio 1.”
Did you see how when contrite, Dappy speaks in complete sentences – like all of Snow White’s dwarves should. As for murdering Moyles’ fans and reducing his listener numbers, the BBC says:
“If he loses another ten we can kill off the sad ******.”
