Islamists Threaten To Kill South Park Characters For Portraying Prophet Mohammed As A Bear

When Kenny gets killed on all those episodes of South Park, it’s all in good fun.
But a radical Islamic website is threatening to do the real thing to show creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone.
Seems an episode in which the Prophet Muhammad appears in a bear suit has a few militants fixin’ to issue a fatwa against Comedy Central’s most creative duo.
According to one account of the episode which airs tomorrow, tension mounts in South Park when the Prophet becomes – according to publicity for the episode – “the pawn in a game to save the town.”
A website called Revolutionmuslim.com isn’t taking the storyline sitting down… and is criticizing the show for its satirical debate on whether an image of the Prophet Mohammed could be shown.
Says the site: “We have to warn Matt and Trey that what they are doing is stupid and they will probably end up like Theo Van Gogh for airing this show,” referring to a Dutch filmmaker who was offed after doing a movie about violence against women in some Islamic societies.
The post lists the addresses for Comedy Central’s New York offices and Los Angeles headquarters of Parker and Stone’s production company.
