Your Drink’s Cabinet Is A Legal Crack Den: Government’s Failed Drugs Policy Exposed
PROFESSOR David Nutt writes in The Lancet that alcohol is more dangerous than crack or heroin. Nutt is the Government’s former drugs adviser. He knows his stuff.
Crack and heroin are stronger than cannabis. But all drugs are banned. Cannabis, with its medical properties, remains illegal. If you self-medicate to alleviate the symptoms of your illness you are a criminal. If you drink – it’s doctor’s orders – you are fine and dandy.
A study looked at how drink and drugs affected the person and society. The most dangerous drugs to the individual are: heroin, crack cocaine and crystal meth.

But if the cost of crime, physical and mental illness, and the impact on society are factored in, the most dangerous drugs are, in order: alcohol, heroin and crack cocaine.
The last damaging drugs are ecstasy and LSD.
The study says alcohol three times more harmful than cocaine or tobacco. Alcohol is eight times more harmful than ecstasy. And mephedrone – the killer drugs that hasn’t killed anyone – is five times less harmful than booze. The last Government was quick to ban it when meow meow (as it was known in tabloid circles) was being linked to deaths by the media. Now that a respected scientist says alcohol is the worst of all will politicians ban it?

How now to classify drugs?
Says Prof Nutt:
“Our findings lend support to previous work in the UK and the Netherlands, confirming that the present drug classification systems have little relation to the evidence of harm.
“They also accord with the conclusions of previous expert reports that aggressively targeting alcohol harms is a valid and necessary public health strategy.”
Woof Woof Is Meow Meow And Other Fishy Killer Drugs
And on the subject of bansturbation, Anorak reader Tom writes:
Reclassifying cannabis as a Class B drugs made sure there’s is a veracious appetite for it – following on from the Govenement’s recent success with ‘Meow-Meow’, a drug that was a legal high, that was then made illegal. The three months before it being made illegal you could get any amount of it delivered to anywhere in the UK 24/7 within 15mins! Three months prior to that just before the Government’s actions, 1% of the populous had heard of it – within six months every body was taking Meow Meow; the logic being to a young raver that “if they don’t want you to take it must be good.
