ELIZABETH Edwards has died. Her widow, John Edwards – a man who might have been President of the US; a man whose affair was exposed by the National Enquirer (he had a baby by Democratic campaign aide Rielle Hunter) – is the target of a negative Daily Mail piece.
She has left her worldly goods to her children: Cate, 28, Emma Claire, 12 and 10-year-old Jack.
The Mail interprets this as:

Nice headline, eh. Making out a woman was bitter and vengeful as she died. Making out a woman wanted to punish their children’s dad after her death. Nice work, Daily Mail Reporter.

Why does anything the Daily Wail write not surprise me but this headline and article beats them all.
She and John Edwards had made their peace with each other and their children had been kept out of their personal problems. Further, he and their children had been beside her together as she lay dying those final weeks. She died with dignity with their love surrounding her.
It is not unusual at all for a spouse to leave their children all of their assets and personal effects, especially when the other spouse has their own assets.
John Edwards is worth many millions, he didn’t need any of her money and I’ll wager you they discussed her changing her Will prior to her changing it days before she passed.
