Transfer balls: Higuain wants ‘dream’ move to Arsenal as he signs for Napoli
TRANSFER Balls: How are Arsenal getting along in their pursuit of Gonzalo Higuain, the player the Sun says they bought for £23m? (That transfer is still up on the Sun’s site as a fact.)
Today the Express reports:
REAL MADRID are confident of landing Liverpool’s Luis Suarez with Gonzalo Higuain heavily backed to join Napoli.
Arsenal fans will say, ‘ let them have him’. IBN Live reports:
Arsenal were believed to be close on signing Higuain only to be ditched by the striker at the last moment
And it’s a done deal. Italy’s Gazzetta dello Sport says:
Higuain says yes and Napoli dreams
€40 million to Real, the Argentine will sign for five seasons at €4.5m a season.Arsenal beaten…
This is backed up by the Corriere dello Sport:
Or as Spanish sports daily Marca says today, Higuain doesn’t fancy Napoli and wants to play in the Premier League. It’s his “dream”.
And the Mirror reports:
After apparently playing dirty in their attempts to get the most amount possible for Gonzalo Higuain, shifting their asking price from £24million to over £30million, Real Madrid seem no more likely to play ball with Arsenal over the sale of their Argentinian forward. That’s despite the player himself holding out for a move to London.
Such are the facts.
More transfer balls every day…
