Arvind Kejriwal: India’s Anti-Corruption Transparency Hero Tweets His Diarrhea
ARVIND Kejriwal is Delhi’s new chief minister, head of the new anti-corruption party, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), or Common Man’s party (the party symbol is of a broom) and champion of the common man.
Mr Kejriwal will be transparent and clean in all things – even his insides are open to the public gaze.
And Mr Kejriwal has fallen ill. As he tweets:
“Running 102 fever since yesterday. Severe loose motions. Sad that I won’t be able to attend office today.”
“When the chief minister gives you a minute by minute update on his bowel movements … hail democracy,” says Priyanka Chaturvedi, a Congress party spokeswoman.
“Will Arvind Kejriwal pass the motion? That is the question we are asking tonight,” said television editor Ritupana Chatterjee.
Everyone’s a wit when you’ve got the squits…
