Desmond bangs the drum

Last week was easy, of course. Wally was at Jordan’s wedding, being singled out for special thanks by the bride, who made everyone else blush.

This week, he’s not so easy to spot. But Wally, aka OK! proprietor Richard Desmond, is in there somewhere.

Is he under Kerry Katona’s tongue? No. Is he perhaps secreted in Nicole Richie’s salad, hiding beneath a piece of lettuce, ready to pop out? No.

But sticking with that, we, like OK!, wish Nicole the best of luck with her new project, a meal of chicken and salad.

“Here’s a sight we bet you never thought you’d see,” says OK!. “That’s right, Nicole Richie actually eating something…”

And while we leave super-slim Nicole at table, we look for Wally in Kerry Katona’s OK! diary? But nothing doing. Kerry is on Desmond’s staff, which pretty much excludes him from forming part of her weekly take on the glitterati.

And Wally’s not at Kate Garraway’s wedding, either. Desmond doesn’t work for GMTV, which, looking at the pictures of smiling day-time TV celebs showing their teeth, means he’s unlikely to have received an invite to the do.

And since Desmond didn’t win an Emmy, father Samantha Janus’s latest child nor appear on Celebrity Love Island, we’re all ready to give up the hunt.

So where is he? Oh, silly us. There’s Desmond appearing in his own magazine at the launch of OK! in the United States.

Stunning Desmond, looking radiant and too handsome for words, is spotted alongside Jessica Simpson and P Diddy.

Well done all of you who spotted Desmond. And good luck on finding him next week…’
