Eternally Ours

‘WHAT Peter and Jordan did in garish technicolour, Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher did in black and white.

And so it is that the cover of OK! magazine features the Hollywood duo standing before a rabbi as they prepare to tie the knot.

There are other key differences between this wedding and the Jordan-Andre extravaganza. Jordan’s was a fairy-tale; Demi’s is “magical”. Jordan’s celebrity guests were picked at random from a pumpkin-shaped tombola (Kerry Katona, Michele Heaton etc.); Demi’s A-list pals have been chosen from her address book (Bruce Willis, Lucy Liu et al). Jordan wore a pink dress; Demi wears white. Jordan wore diamonds; Demi wears a piece of red string.

We could go on, but to do so would risk the chance of overlooking the one theme that surely unites both weddings: love.

“This celebration elevated everything that already exists between us,” says Demi. Our greatest gift is our ability to love and our capacity is truly infinite.”

Excuse us while we wipe away a tear, and thank Demi for her gracious gift, generously given. And listen to what Ashton, the other half of this eternally beating heart, has to say.
