Madonna Does Sporty Spice

WE always enjoy a celebrity bigging themselves up. And here’s former Spice Girl Melanie Chisholm claiming the shellsuit as her own: “I’ve been a bit of a trendsetter in my day. I think Madonna copied those tracksuits from my Sporty Spice look.”
Indeed, on any given Saturday, thousands of men, women, boys and girls can be seen in shopping precincts wearing Mel’s trademark manmade fibres and replica football kits.
Tis a fine legacy…
