Hamas Arrests Alan Johnston ‘Kidnapper’
SO Hamas are now the good guys. God help the Palestinians and Israel:
JERUSALEM: Hamas officials in Gaza on Monday arrested a spokesman for the Army of Islam, the shadowy group that claims to have kidnapped Alan Johnston, the BBC Gaza correspondent, on March 12.
The arrest of Abu Khatab Maqdisi and two other men was believed to be an effort by Hamas to help force the release of Johnston, who was last seen dressed in an explosive belt in a video made public a week ago by the Army of Islam. Maqdisi had said that Johnston, 45, would be killed if Hamas or anyone else tried to rescue him.
