BBC Newsflash: Dermot Murnaghan Joins Sky
FOLLOWING the BBC’s breaking news story that Natasha Kaplinsky has quit her BBC job to read the autocue on Five, comes this story over the wires: “Dermot Murnaghan is leaving BBC Breakfast to join Sky News at the start of next year. Dermot will present Sky News Today, weekdays 9am to 1pm, from 1st January 2008 and anchor the reporting of some set piece events for the award-winning channel.” Wow indeed.
Look out for more on BBC News 24 and BBC TV bulletins throughout the day.
