THE search for the gurning face of British-based Islamism goes on. And the Times commends to readers’ attention one Mohammed Atif Siddique.
At 21, the beardless computer student has a promising if limited line in rhetoric, reportedly telling fellow students at Glasgow Metropolitan College that he would “blow up” the city and that suicide bombers were a “good thing”.
Happily for Siddique, he will now have eight years to work on his polemic and grow a wiry beard – the High Court in Edinburgh has just found him guilty of amassing and distributing terrorist propaganda. But for us, the search for our nutter-in-residence goes on…
