WHILE other newspapers produce their reviews of the year, so giving their staff a few days off as repeats are aired, the Mail attempts to distill a year’s worth of news into a single headline.
No easy thing, you’d imagine.
But alongside a picture of Madeleine McCann, the front-page headline reads: “Record spate of unwanted pregnancies feared after reckless teenage drinking – NEW YEAR BINGERS’ ABORTION LEGACY.”
