The Shark’s Tail
TO a boat 100 miles off Coolangatta, Queensland, Australia.
The fishermen have caught a mako shark. The beast, 10ft long, is on the deck. A fisherman passes by.
The Sun says the shark “buried its teeth in the deckhand when he accidentally trod on its tail”. Another fisherman sees the danger and slashes off the shark’s head.
Can it be that the way to antagonise a shark is not put stick a hook in its mouth and drag it from the sea or garrott it in a fishing net but to stand on its tail?
You have been warned…
