Biker dude jumps over Las Vegas
AUSSIE stunt biker Robbie Maddison (pictured, right) wowed Las Vegas with a spectacular motorcycle jump on New Year’s Eve.
Bombing down the strip outside the Paris Las Vegas casino, Maddison flew 37 metres into the air – the equivalent of a 10-storey building – and landed on top of a replica of the Arc de Triomphe. Only in Vegas, baby.
Maddison landed perfectly, waved to the cheering crowds below, then for good measure he dropped off the Arc onto a landing ramp below, the impact of the fall broke his hand, an injury which he probably hardly noticed. He sure puts the mad in Maddison.
