Kate Winslet Rejoices As Nazis Win Golden Globe Again

ARMBANDS off to Kate Winslet who has won the Golden Globe for best supporting actress for her role in The Reader.

Having missed out on a gong for her portrayal of Leonardo DiCaprio’s mum in Titanic, Our Kate has finally brought home some much need precious metal.

Our Kate wins the award for her role as a Nazi death camp guard.

Says she:

“[Like the Nazis] I have a habit of not winning things.”

Adding:

“But when Sammy [husband Sam Mendes] presented me a script about a woman in a concentration camp I knew I’d be in the running. Sam had planned for me to be gang raped in exchange for the release of a black child from a band of pro-global warming activists. He really wanted me to win. But in the end the concentration camp proved enough.”

Kate then repeated her acceptance speech in a clipped German accent, praising Germans for their inspirational support of the arts.

In other awards, Australian method actor Heath Ledger won a “posthumous” Golden Globe for his performance as The Joker in Batman movie The Dark Knight.

It is rumoured that Ledger will accept any Oscar in person, and his clown-masked henchmen open fire on Hollywood A-listers.
