Ex-model banned from boxing
A former model who wanted to become the first female boxer to represent Great Britain Team GB at the Olympic Games has been barred from the ring because she has silicon implants in her fun bags.
The Amateur Boxing Association turned down Sarah Blewden’s application on the grounds that the breast enlargement she had five years ago makes her a health risk in the ring.
“International rules forbid anyone with breast implants continuing to box because of risk of damage to the breast tissue,” said Tony Attwood, chairman of the ABA (and breast expert, clearly).
Blewden, who runs a hair salon, slammed the decision as “ridiculous” and said she would be happy to pay for surgery to repair damage to her charming 32C breasts. So that’s alright then.
