Spurs: a team of cowards
WORD is (via Talksport’s breakfast radio show) that not a single Spurs player raised his hand when Harry Redknapp asked who wanted to take a penalty in the shootout at the end of Sunday’s Carling Cup final against Man Utd.
There’s nothing like confidence when you’re taking on one of the best club sides in the world, eh? And that’s nothing like confidence.
Tottenham have some very talented players in their bloated squad, but what they really need is a few more men with hairy balls. Because on this evidence, they’re sorely lacking in the trouser department.
