FAIL! Footballer Shows Up At Wrong Ground

FORMER Middlesbrough defender Dean Gordon now plays for non-league Workington. This week, 35-year-old Deano (that must be his nickname, surely) hit the back pages for the first time since he player in the top flight.
According to FourFourTwo magazine, “Gordon phoned his manager, Darren Edmondson, from Alfreton Town’s Impact Arena less than two hours before kick-off to ask where the rest of the Workington team was.”
You might have guessed the answer: Deano’s team-mates were in Workington, preparing for their home match against Alfreton. A match they lost 3-0, no thanks to Gordon’s gaffe.
A good old-fashioned FAIL.
