Jade Goody’s Greatest Creation
ANYONE remember when it was easy to like Shilpa Shetty? Yes, it was when she was being abused on Big Brother.
Everyone likes a victim, and Shilpa was it. But now Shilpa is accused of being the predator – it alleged that she wrecked her furture husband’s first marriage.
Here’s Shilpa showing Hello! readers around she and Raj Kundra’s British mansion. Through the double doors leading into a grand hall with two reception rooms on the left and steps down to an indoor heated swimming pool.
Shilpa tells us:
“I made it clear to him that our relationship could go no further than friendship until he actually had his divorce.”
How’s that for not breaking up a marriage – you can only date me when you’ve official split from your wife. Meanwhile, we can be friends.
This is the home Raj bought when his wife was pregnant with their two-year-old daughter Deveena. This is caring Shilpa:
“I’m desperate to start a family – I just love children, and we’ve a beautiful ready-made nursery.”
Adding:
“I want at least two children.”
Like Jade.
Of course, we know only what we read in Hello!. The marriage might have been long dead and Shilpa might well be a living saint.
So here’s Shilpa, in the UK at the same time the country is burying Our Jade Goody, whom Shilpa has thanked for making her famous.
Says sensitive Shilpa:
“It actually made me feel physically ill. To be called a marriage-breaker was the worst thing possible. It brought such shame on to my parents, and I felt so bad for their sake.”
Adding:
“To be honest, I think I was in love with Raj from day one – but I was in denial.”
What was that bit about telling him you’d date him only when his divorce was finalised? Denial comes in a few shades.
