Fighting The Taliban In Pink Underwear

THE image is of 19-year-old US Army specialist Zachary Boyd fighting off a Taliban ambush in Afghanistan. That’s him in his regulation issue pink boxer shorts, bearing the legend “I *heart* NY”.
Says his dad Tommy Boyd:
“I knew he was a boxer guy, I knew that for sure. I did not know they were pink, and I didn’t know they said, ‘I love New York.'”
Says the motto on Old Mr Anorak’s sabre:
“You can always trut a man who tucks his vest into his Y-fronts.”
