Abramovich Unveils Chelsea’s New Football Ground
ROMAN Abramovich has unveiled Chelsea’s new football ground.
To facilitate the global nature of the game, Chelsea will play aboard the Eclipse, a £300m, 557-long floating stadium.
The eclipse comes with a missile-detection system, and boasts parking for two helipads, a luxury spa and a swimming pool.
The ground also features a private submarine, which doubles as an escape pod for when the laundry basket is full.
As ever, the away end will be uncovered. Travelling fans will be in a small rowing boat towed serveral yards behind the main vessel and surrounded by an electric fence. The area will be all seating, of course.
Also, players will be able to live near the ground – something that the fans appreciate – as the gound comes near to them, whether they be in the South of France or shinier parts of Italy.
Says Ken Bates:
“Fetch me my beard, laddie.”
