Attacker Wore T-shirt With His Name And Birth Date On
THAT’S Dean Bailey kicking and stamping on man. We know it’s him because Dean Bailey is wearing a T-shirt with his name and date of birth written on it.
It was Bailey’s 21st birthday on September 7 and he wore his T-shirt with pride. He had made it. He had the key to the door. But, not, as it turns out, not after 7pm.
The court hears that Bailey did kick and stamp on mechanic John Scuthern outside Costa coffee, in Nottingham’s Friar Lane.
Judge Michael Stokes QC, Recorder of Nottingham, offers:
“You got involved with someone and kicked him on the ground and caused a nasty injury to his face. You would have gone to prison for nine to 12 months.
The judge said that because of the delay and Bailey’s previous good character and guilty plea, he would impose a 40-week sentence, suspended for a year.”
Bailey, who admitted wounding, will be subject to a two-month curfew and tagging and pay Mr Scuthern £300 compensation.
