Teen Rapist Forgiven By Christians Rapes Boy Days Later
THE story of the 16-year-old who kidnapped and raped a five-year-old boy, eight days after avoiding custody for another rape, is one of religious conviction. Why?
Because when reviewing the teenager’s first rape, Judge Adrian Smith is reported to have considered the views of the victim’s family, who forgave the youth because of their Christian beliefs.
At Manchester’s Minshull Street Crown Court, the massed heard that the teenager was given a community order for the rape of a seven-year-old boy, in Tameside.
Judge Peter Lakin revoked the community rehabilitation order and resentenced him for the earlier rape.
Forgiveness is divine? Or stupid?
