Newspaper tycoon Rupert Murdoch (left) and millionaire businessman Alan Sugar hold a model of the Astra Satellite at a London press conference, where Mr Murdoch announced he had signed a 10-year lease for three new satellite channels. Mr Sugar's Amstrad company is to manufacture a satellite dish and receiver aimed at the mass market.
