Jesus Bleeds In A Banana
IN New Zealand a banana is displaying sings of stigmata – it is the Jesus banana. Jesus is found in almost anything. And here is the divine force in Caleb Cleland’s fruit.
To Timaru, where Caleb’s banana is bleeding red. His mum, one Anita Bisset, says:
“It was really bright red, it looks like dye and it is really hard to get off your fingers.”
Amen.
“It’s quite random. As soon as you touched the banana [it leaked red]. I thought someone had contaminated them.”
Someone? Or a some presence? To the Timaru Pak ‘n Save, source of diving fluids. The store is baffled.
Ms Bisset should tie another banana across it to form a cross and nail it to the wall as a warning to what happens when you don’t eat your five a day…
