Photographer Arrested For Taking Photographs

TO a mall in Charleston, West Virginia, where freelance photographer Scott Rensberger says that when he shot some pictures of a child on Santa’s lap, his days took a turn for the worse. A man asked him to delete the images. He did so. He says police officers arrived and questioned him. So he took a picture of them. Rensberger is charged with battery, resisting arrest and obstructing justice. Says he:
There are people with cell phones everywhere, are we gonna arrest everyone for taking a picture that a child might be, like, this big in the shot?”
Well, if possible, yes.
