Winter Solstice And Bar Mitzvah At Stonehenge: In Picture

FOR decades the purpose of Stonehenge has been debated. Was it a starter home for a Welsh holiday makers that never got finished? Is it a club venue for hippies? Does it mark the site of the world’s first shopping mall with valet parking? Is it just big pile of stones used to break up the monotony of Wiltshire? Most recently Stonehenge has been used by Arthur Pendragan, formally known as Jhon Rothwell, to conduct druidic ceremonies to celebrate the Winter Solstice. Next week, Barry Ronson is having his Bar Mitzvah there, followed the next weekend by a dinner dance for the Little Wallop Young Rotarians…
