Shane MacGowan of 'The Popes' formerly 'The Pogues', a presenter with the new BBC Arts autumn and winter season programme schedule. 12/04/02: Shane MacGowan, whose band The Pogues are to headline the annual Fleadh event this summer, it was announced. The band will play to 30,000 fans at the show in London's Finsbury Park which will be their only UK festival appearance.
