Man Holds Up Petrol Station With Plastic Bag

by | 12th, January 2010

sandwich-bag-banditsIN Labrador, on Australia’s Gold Coast, a robber is holding up a BP service station. He is wearing a disguise of a plastic bag. The plastic bag is transparent.

His hand is masked by a large carving knife.

The Sandwich Bag Bandit demands money. The shop drone sticks the cash register’s money tray from the register on the counter. The robber dives in.

He then escapes.

So did the cashier get a good look at his face? Maybe not.

He is described as about 170cm tall in his mid-20s and wearing three-quarter length denim shorts, a white t-shirt and a sky blue baseball cap.

Not a word on his face. His plan might have worked. The move is not to over-elaborate a disguise but just use something that is so odd it becomes the main thing the victim can recall.

Get a load of Alistair Darling’s eyebrows. You didn’t think they were real did you?
