Haiti: Charlie Simpson Beats Simon Cowell And The Telethon

CHARLIE Simpson, 7, has raised £50,000 for Haiti. The Mirror features “little” Charlie on its front page. The Sun leads instead with news of its Haiti campaign that has so far raised £1m. It also salutes “our” charity single – well, more the dirge Simon Cowell is producing for his acts and the Sun says will be great. Charlie Simpson, 7, from Fulham, cycled five miles around South Park, west London, to raise money for Unicef’s Haiti Earthquake Children’s Appeal. No vanity.
