MADDIE WATCH – Anorak’s at-a-glance guide to press coverage of Madeleine McCann, Kate McCann and Gerry McCann:Kate McCann and Gerry McCann said they were “trying to move forward” as they hosted a £150-a-head fundraising dinner to mark 1000 days since their daughter went missing. There was a raffle and auction at Kensington Roof Gardens in west London. Says Kate McCann:
“It’s obviously difficult but we are trying to move forward to help Madeleine and all missing children.”
Madeleine McCann became the media’s Our Maddie and then the benchmark for all missing children. Celebs at the do included Jack Dee, Fiona Phillips, Gloria Hunniford and Peter Bowles. No suspects. No sign of the missing child.
