BRITS Helen Mirren, Nick Hornby, Colin Firth, Carey Mulligan, Kathryn Bigelow, Jesse Armstrong, Simon Blackwell, Armando Ianucci and Tony Roche are up for Oscars. And the flag-waving Sun celebrates the news by telling its readers that it’s “AvOscar” time.
The “SCI-FI SPECTACULAR LANDS 9 OSCAR NOMINATIONS.”
Might that be the same sci-fi spectacular – Avatar – which in news not printed in the Sun is made by Twentieth Century Fox, a company owned by Rupert Murdoch?
