Man Arrested In Connection with Keith Blakelock Murder: Broadwater Farm In Pictures
THE Murder of Keith Blakelock in the Tottenham Broadwater Farm riots in 1985 shocked. Cynthia Jarrett, 49, collapsed and died after a police raid on her home. The catalyst for a riot. PC Blackelock was hacked to death. Pc Richard Coombes survived. A 40-year-old man has been arrested over the murder. This would make the man 16 years old at the time of the killing. The policeman son of murdered Pc Keith Blakelock has been officially honoured by his force for bravely tackling a knifeman, his proud mother said today.
