Man Arrested In Connection with Keith Blakelock Murder: Broadwater Farm In Pictures
THE Murder of Keith Blakelock in the Tottenham Broadwater Farm riots in 1985 shocked. Cynthia Jarrett, 49, collapsed and died after a police raid on her home. The catalyst for a riot. PC Blackelock was hacked to death. Pc Richard Coombes survived. A 40-year-old man has been arrested over the murder. This would make the man 16 years old at the time of the killing. In 1978, Winston Silcott, Mark Braithwaite and Engin Raghip were convicted of murder. In 1991, the men were released. In pictures:

The widow of murdered Pc Keith Blakelock joined detectives will join detectives, Thursday October 6, 2005 in their appeal for information about her husband's killer - 20 years after his death. The 40-year-old father-of-three was hacked to death during the Broadwater Farm riots in Tottenham, north London on October 6, 1985. His colleague, PC Richard Coombes, was shot and injured in the attack.
