But he’s not in the Falklands any more. He’s back in Blighty. He’s back because the tensions are high down south. Argentina has installed listening devices in areas around the islands. Argentine boats are entering British wasters. And they are doing so under the protection of…the French.
While you were watching the war in Iraq and Afghanistan, an old foe has been massing.
Reports are now entering the mainstream media of a British rig drilling for oil in the territorial waters of the Falkland Islands. Argentina is not happy.
There is oil under the waves. And oil means power and wealth. Oil means war…
