Gatorade Ditches Tiger Woods And Tiger Focus Drink
ONE of Tiger Woods’ biggest sponsors has ditched him a week after his ridiculous non-news conference.
Gatorade does not want Tiger in its tank. The sports drink company has dumped him from the 2007 $100 million five year deal. Woods is already ditched by major sponsors AT&T and Accenture.
“We no longer see a role for Tiger in our marketing efforts and have ended our relationship,” said a Gatorade statement. “We wish him all the best.”
Pepsi had already abandoned a brand of Gatorade called “Gatorade Tiger Focus,” but said the action was not related to the golfer’s sex troubles.
Tiger may truly believe he is Zeus with his own concepts of fidelity but once again the Markets do not and ditching is the only option.
