VE Day: Incredible Pictures Of St Petersburg Now And Then
WHEN 76 British soldiers from 2 Company 1st Battalion Welsh Guards marched in Red Square in Moscow for the first time to mark the 65th anniversary of the defeat of Nazi Germany, we remembered. And then we were sent these images of Saint Petersburg in 1941-44. Black and white can look poignant. But it can make the images look dated.
