Chris Huhne: A Hypocrite, A Bisexual Trimingham An A Green Joke
CHRIS Huhne has left his wife Vicky Pryce for Carina Trimingham. The Mail leads with news that Huhne is the “MINSTER FOR HYPOCRISY”.
How so?
“Deplorable hypocrisy”, says the Mail?
Again. How so? Well, at the election Huhne plugged his family in election leaflets and lent his name to the words:
“Family matters to me so much – where would we be without them?”
Well, Huhne was, allegedly, shagging his lover at his family home. So, unless the question is rhetorical, we’d answer: “at home.”
The assumption, as always, is that the wife is a cuckold who never knew of her husband’s other woman. Family matters might well matter to Chris Huhne – he has five children. He just might also like sex with Carina Trimingham. The two need not be mutually exclusive.
But the better bit about Ms Trimingham is that she was once in a romance with a woman. The Mail this is manna from heaven. As the paper puts it:
Chris Huhne’s bisexual lover: Life and very different loves of the PR girl in Doc Martens
Adding:
And Trimingham, with her boyish cropped, spiky haircut and love of Dr Marten boots and jeans, could be forgiven for feeling rather out of place as she takes her place as the Secretary of State for Energy’s official partner.
Well, since David Laws resigned from the Cabinet, maybe. But we’d need to see all the partners lined up to be certain. The Mail does nto wait for evidence and presses on:
Certainly, Trimingham’s life so far is a world away from the ‘twinset and pearls’ society of constituency coffee morning and cheese and wine parties.
The LibDem parties..? Twinset and pearls?! You man anoraks and carrier bags.
Then with some irony:
After starting out as a reporter in the 1980s, she spent several years working in showbiz PR, promoting acts such as The Who and AC/DC…
Anyhow, Huhne presses on in his job as Energy Secretary. As the Independent says:
Chris Huhne: Why I’m turned on by turning things off
The green minister is a joke. Thank you. And good night…
