Mooning Amtrak: Decorated Butts In Pictures

WITH the Amtrak Mooners in the southern Californian city of Laguna Niguel – they show their bums to the passing trains.
“Mooning Amtrak” began in 1979, when a drinker at the Mugs Away Saloon bet someone a drink they would not dash outside and moon a passing train.
(Mugs Away is nominative determinism, readers – Anorak’s in-house pool reporter used to begin each game he wasn’t breaking with the phrase “Mugs Away” before he was impaled on a ‘rest’.)
No thousands turn up to show their backsides – some decorated – to passing train passengers.
