Will Kevin Kristopik Sue Justin Bieber For Tweeting His Phone Number To 4.5m Fans?

by | 16th, August 2010

JUSTIN Bieber has made Detroit teenager Kevin Kristopik famous among adolescents, men in caravan parks and whoever else loves the singing foetus. Bieber tweeted Kritopik’s mobile phone number to 4.5 million of his fans.

Bieber deleted the tweet but it was too late. The number was out there being retweeted throughout the Biebervese. Thousands of Bieber fans called and texted the number. Was this the hotline to the Bieber?

No. It’s as Kevin Kristopik’s phone. Bieber’s phone is by Fisher-Price and only makes outgoing calls. Kristopik tweets:

“Thanks for giving out my # @justinbieber.”

By way of background, it seems that Bierber’s apparent tweeting of the number might not have been an accident. Kristopik claims to have hacked the Twitter account of a Ryan Butler, one of Bieber’s mates, and by this means obtained Bieber’s phone number.

As Kristopik tweeted:

“im the one who hacked ryan and got justins #.”

He later adds:

“I never asked for it, @justinbieber is a dick/”

Adding:

“i still like him, but this was so low.”

A call to Kristopik’s number gets this message:

“The mailbox belonging to 248-FOETUS is full and cannot accept new messages at this time.”

Lastly, could Justin Bieber now be sued for publishing private facts about a private person on the web? Of course, Bieber’s account might have been hacked and he not have sent the message. But if he did, and the action was highly offensive to a reasonable person of ordinary sensibilities”, Bieber could be in the mire.

What say you, Kristopik?
