Has The Terri Horman Witch Hunt Killed The Hunt For Kyron?
KYRON Horman: Anorak’s look at the missing Oregon boy in the news: the case is running out of time and the media is becoming less interested in the family…
First some more speculation:
THE SOP: “INVESTIGATORS DESPERATELY STRUM A LAST WALTZ TO OBTAIN ANY REAL EVIDENCE. NO-ONE IN THEIR RIGHT MIND REMEMBERS THIS GOD-FORSAKEN WHITE TRUCK, PERIOD!”
The writer says the case is “bewildering” – which will come as news to you who have been following the media coverage which focuses just on tortured Terri Moulton Horman, Kyron’s step-mother. She has been persecuted by the media.
The Sop’s article is rambling. But this point is valid:
Terri and DeDe [Spicher] have been demonized in the public eye, and not because any substantial body of evidence has come forth that particularly points to culpability on their part.
The case has gone nowhere. What happened to Kyron Horman remains a matter of speculation. After the sensation of the alleged hitman and the initial feeding frenzy, the media need something new to keep the story alive.
The Wristbands
Piper McFarland is selling ‘Bring Home Kyron’ bracelets outside the Hillsboro Fred Meyer store near Imbrie Drive and Cornelius Pass.
The bracelets, which cost $2, are blue and yellow to represent the school’s colors. All proceeds will help offset the cost of the investigation, which is running into the hundreds of thousands of dollars.
“I think any little bit helps, money wise, and just keeping Kyron’s face and name out there,” said McFarland.
The Moving Wall Of Hope
The Wall of Hope, a tribute for missing 7-year-old Kyron Horman, will soon be moved away from Skyline School, according to Kaine Horman, the boy’s father.
Kaine Horman said the new location has not yet been determined.
The wall was started about two and a half weeks after Kyron was last seen at Skyline School on June 4, and myriad balloons and letters have since been added to the memorial.
Do your own media with a new website
* BringKyronHome.org includes downloadable flyers in several languages, including English, Spanish, Russian and two versions of Chinese. The site urges people to send emails about the missing 7-year-old to friends, family members, co-workers, church members and others to “Keep this story going!”
The website makes no mention of Terri Horman. This might well be deliberate. If you follow the speculation (fed in part by the father and mother publicly blaming Terri Horman and asking her to bring the boy home) isn’t the urge to look for him dampened? All you do is look at the show and wait for the woman to crack. You don’t look for the boy – you just watch the parents.
