The Mirror says the “D-listers… ‘partied’ in near silence”. The paper terms the mood “funereal”. It spots “nervy guests” enduring “flagging spirits”….
The Star spots C-listers, one notch up on the Mirror’s D-listers. It says the party was “naff” and featured a guitar-shaped birthday cake.
Still, the Mail can agree on one thing: Madonna’s hands are “not immune to the ageing process”.
