101-Year-Old Woman Gets Tattoo
MIMI Rosenthal is at 101 years young getting a tattoo. Born in Kansas, now residing at Surfside Beach, S.C., having lived for years in Long Island, New York, Mimi is getting ink.
And, no, it doesn’t say ‘DNR’ on her pre-op chest.
When she was 99, Mimi got a tattoo of a blue butterfly on her leg.
At 100, Mrs Rosenthal got large tattoo of a flower on her other leg.
Now she’s getting a tattoo of a yellow sunflower on her arm.
Says her tattooist Michelle Gallo-Kohlas:
“Her skin is so fragile. It’s like uncharted territory.”
Says Rosenthal:
“Next time I’m getting it on my butt.”
