THE six men feared to be Muslim and of North African extraction – all arrested for their parts in an alleged plot to blow up the Pope – have been released without being charged.

The six men feared to be Muslim and foreign were arrested on the same day Johnathan Evans’ (he’s the head of MI5) warned us that unless more resources where given to UK security, bombers would hit the country hard.

Incredible stuff, eh, readers? Although, as a police “source” says, the alleged Pope bombers, posed “no credible threat”.

Meanwhile, in Glasgow, an

“…18-year-old man has been charged after a laser beam was fired at a police helicopter during the Pope’s visit to Glasgow.

The incident happened after Pope Benedict XVI had celebrated Mass before 65,000 people in Bellahouston Park.”

The man is not thought to be Muslim. So, he’s not been arrested as a suspected terrorist…
