Prison Voters Get Chance To Vote For Frauds, Cheats And Liars
PRISONERS will be able to vote for the crooks, vagabonds, charlatans and frauds who make up the House of Commons.
Says one councillor in Birmingham:
“Gone are those dark days of persuading people to lie and cheat to get out man elected. Now we can just tap into a readymade key demographic of liars and cheats.
“One prisoner in Dovegate says he can deliver over 300 identifies for a pre-paid phone card. It’s the kind of shot in the arm democracy needs. And if anyone wants a shot in the arm they can have one delivered in the pages of manifesto in exchange for their vote. Just saying…”
One leading Tory, worried over the party’s ability to reach out to the jailed voters, led calls for a leading Conservative to fall on his trusty sword and mingle with the electorate.
