Man Rips Head Off Lover’s Cockatiel

RICHARD Owen was in a row with his lover Gillian Hopson. The row is over their pet dog. During the argument, Owen took hold of Hopson’s pet cockatiel and ripped its head off. hand.
She also had pet chinchillas And with the yell, “They’ve got to die too”, he attacked them.
At court in Aberystwyth, local man Owen, 30, is found guilty of assaulting Gillian and admitted killing the bird, a protected species.
