Banksy’s Pop-Up Gallery Turns 7/7 Carnage Into Art: Photos

THE number 30 double-decker bus in Tavistock Square, blown up in the 7/7 terror attack on London, is now an artwork at Marks & Stencils, a pop-up gallery created by Banksy.

The image is Mark Sinckler’s. It’s called the Age of Shiva. Does it make you think about faith? You can buy it at Berwick Street in Soho. Thirteen people were murdered on that bus.

The 7/7 inquest into the death of 52 people and what occurred that day is on. Is this blatant opportunism to cause sensation by a hungry artist? Or he using the moment to make us look at things anew? Is his picture real in its own way..?

File photo dated 08/07/2005 of the number 30 double-decker bus in Tavistock Square, which was destroyed by a terrorist bomb attack. The artist behind a mural depicting angels flying above the wreckage of the bus said he wanted to "jolt" people into thinking about the potential effects of faith.
