Burqa Bandit Raids Bury Jewelers: Multi-Racial Gang Escapes
THE figure in the burqa at the Jadee Jewellers store in Rochdale Road, Bury, is a man wielding a machete. The man who let him into the shop, believing the figure to be a woman looking for fancy objects, is swinging a hockey stick.
Two other men the Burqa Bandit has let in to the store are clutching a silver metal hammer and a baseball bat, respectively.
The gang smash glass and steal whatever they can lay their hands on.
But what did they look like?
Well, police say the man with the baseball bat was black; the hammer man was white; and the Burqa Bandit is an Asian man. Their getaway car was a German Audi.
One in the eye for you who say the races cannot live together…
