Bank Robbers Hide Tracking Device In Getaway Car
BRITTNEY Sykes and Emma Westhusing robbed a branch of Oregon credit union. The bank clerk handed them $1370 in 48 bills, secreting within them a tracker device.
Back at Sykes’ place in Portland they spot the device. Westhusing says Sykes thought the contraption was a dye bomb, “so she threw it against the wall…then stomped on it, and then looked up what it was on the Internet.”
Because when you have a dye bomb in your hand and have robbed a bank the sensible thing to do is try to detonate it inside your home. The story gets better: Sykes hides the device in her purple Hyundai Accent.
Twenty minutes later the police arrive.
